Installation Support Terms & Conditions

Excel Home Decor maintains a verified network of certified wallpaper and flooring applicators across major metropolitan and Tier-I cities in India. Our installation support service connects customers with skilled professionals trained in precise pattern matching, seamless edge trimming, and substrate adhesion.

To ensure flawless, bubble-free wallpaper installation and long-term durability, the client must ensure the wall meets the following technical conditions prior to the installer's arrival:

• Wall Surface: The wall must be completely smooth, plastered, finished with putty, sanded smooth, and coated with a quality acrylic wall primer.
• Zero Dampness / Moisture: The wall must be completely dry. Wallpaper should never be installed on damp walls or walls with active water seepage/efflorescence.
• Electrical Fixtures: Switch plates, wall sconces, hanging nails, and AC brackets should be removed or made accessible before installation.
• Clean Environment: The room should be clear of ongoing heavy masonry, carpentry, or sanding dust that could contaminate adhesive seams.

Installation charges are calculated per standard roll (approx. 50–57 Sq. Ft.) or per square foot for large murals and flooring. Rates vary depending on city tier, ceiling height (scaffolding requirements for double-height walls), and surface complexity.

Unless explicitly quoted as a turnkey package, installation services include wallpaper hanging and joint finishing, but exclude structural masonry repair, plastering, or civil wall waterproofing.

Our verified installation partners provide a 30-day workmanship warranty covering joint lifting or seam peeling under normal indoor climatic conditions.

The client or authorized representative must be present upon completion of installation to inspect pattern alignment, seam joins, and sign off the handover sheet. Any immediate concerns must be highlighted to the applicator on the day of completion.
